| I purchased this case to go along with my Hewlett-Packard net book. It fits the mini 110 net book perfectly. I went through many cases before selecting this case. The reason I selected this case is because of fit and thickness of padding. It has a much thicker padding than the cuter, sometimes smaller cases. This fits the dimensions of the HP 110 perfectly, and even leaves just enough room to slide in a small mouse or extra battery. Ideal. |
A& 16" Laptop Backpack: Zippered pockets everywhere!

Targus makes great products, so it was no surprise to find that their A& 16" Laptop Backpack is well-made. All zippers, including ones to the inner, smaller pockets, are large and sturdy- not the usual little ones that break in a month or two- so are easily found and used. Seam edges along the zips are bound and out of the way- I don't think you could catch one in a zipper even if you tried to. I was counting the number of zippers on this thing (10!) and found a compartment I had not noticed before. With all these zippers, there's lots of places to stash cords, accessories, pens, etc. In addition, there's a mesh pocket on one side suitable for a skinny water bottle. Zip pulls and zippers are flat black and unobtrusive. The zipper pulls are even textured for ease.
The large middle compartment is roomy enough for a notebook and files. It has a divider and a zippered pocket. The medium compartment has a cell phone pocket, holders for pens, a card pocket, and yes- another roomy zippered compartment. There's 2 smaller pockets on the back along with a narrow zippered pocket on the side that could hold a cord, but not much else.
The laptop fits into the pocket next to your back. The panel between you and the laptop is thickly padded, as is the bottom of the case. However, there's none along the upper edge or the top half of the pack. Also, there is no rigid structures within the case. So, if you want your laptop to be completely cradled in thick padding or a case with more strength to resist bumps, you might want to look for a briefcase style.
The backpack's bottom and lower edges on the front and sides are covered with a thick vinyl type of material so you can put it down without worrying about dirt. The curved straps have 1" thick padding down their length and are 3 1/2" wide for comfort. They are easily adjustable, even with the pack on. There's a chest strap, too. The pack has and extra 1/2" or so of soft padding under a nylon mesh cover over the lower back and shoulder area. There is one handle (with a secret snap-on key holder) on the top edge.
And, best of all, even with all this, the A7 weighs next to nothing. I've had regular backpacks that weighed more and had no padding anywhere, and they cost nearly what this one does. I am impressed with the quality and value.
This is a well thought out and made pack that should fit just about anyone's needs.

Amazing Notebook slipcase for the price

| I normally don't review my purchases, but I was so pleased with this one that I decided I would leave some feedback. For less than $30, I got this case to protect my HP Elitebook 8540p 15.6inch notebook. It fits my notebook like a glove, and it looks great. The pattern on the outside makes it look sleek and a little less boring, and the black definitely looks very professional. The inside is padded and ventilates great for when I put my notebook back into the case after using it for a couple of hours. I was concerned that the zipper would scratch my notebook, but it is designed so that in the top of the slipcase where the zipper is, there is a padded barrier between the zipper and the notebook when you zip it closed. It is well designed and I would definitely buy this again. The quality of this product has made me a Targus fan. |
